Solvay: to accelerate transition at top of the group

(CercleFinance.com) - Solvay has announced that it will accelerate the succession plan of its CEO Jean-Pierre Clamadieu, after Engie's decision to appoint him as a director at its AGM on 18 May, followed by chairman of its board of directors.


Both internal and external applications will be considered, with the aim of concluding this transition by the end of the year.

Jean-Pierre Clamadieu will continue to fulfil his role as Solvay's executive director and will remain fully involved in implementing the Belgian chemist's strategic priorities while taking up non-executive positions within Engie.
