Solvay: sale of plant finalized in the United States

(CercleFinance.com) - Solvay has announced that it has completed the sale of its Phosphorus Derivatives business and plant at its US site in Charleston, South Carolina, to the German specialty chemicals company, Lanxess.


This divestment will concentrate Solvay's resources on our existing leading positions in phosphine, phosphine derivatives and phosphorus specialties, the Belgian chemist said when it announced the sale.
