Schlumberger: appoints chief operating officer

(CercleFinance.com) - Schlumberger has promoted the head of its Cameron product lines to the position of COO, where he will be responsible for the day-to-day management of worldwide operations.


The oilfield services leader said that its board of directors has appointed Olivier Le Peuch as chief operating officer, effective immediately.

Le Peuch, who joined the company in 1987 as an electrical engineer, was previously responsible for the management of production equipment unit Cameron, including technology products lines such as software.
