EssilorLuxottica: partnership between the foundation and the WHO

(CercleFinance.com) - OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation announces its collaboration with the WHO as a global partner in the SPECS 2030 initiative, which aims to increase effective coverage of visual defects worldwide by 40% by 2030.


'This collaboration represents a major step forward in the fight against poor vision, the prevention of myopia, and the global improvement of access to visual health, especially in resource-poor settings', it explains.

The foundation will provide technical support, share best practices and contribute to initiatives designed to provide data to the WHO, in line with the global objective of improving the management of visual defects.
