Elis: employee shareholding operation completed
(CercleFinance.com) - Elis has announced that 4.
93% of its employees in 18 countries have chosen to participate either directly or via its employee shareholding fund (FCPE) in its capital increase reserved for employees, for a total subscription of over 10.6 million euros.
The subscription period ended on October 3. This operation enabled employees to invest in Elis shares at a unit price of 14.73 euros, with a matching contribution from the Group equal to one share offered for every 10 shares subscribed.
The subscriptions received resulted in the issue, on November 14, of 760,947 new shares (including bonus shares), representing 0.32% of the capital. The new shares, which carry current dividend rights, were listed on Euronext Paris.
In addition, 27,535 bonus shares were delivered to employees of foreign subsidiaries, using shares held in treasury by the industrial laundry company, as part of its share buyback program.
