Quadient: obtains a 25 ME loan for its R&D programs
(CercleFinance.com) - Quadient announces that it has obtained a €25 million 'Schuldschein' loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to finance its R&D programs in the Czech Republic.
As a reminder, a 'Schuldschein' loan is a financing instrument under German law, comparable to a private bond, but with fewer regulatory formalities.
This loan, with maturities of 5 and 7 years, will support the activities of Quadient's R&D center in Hradec Králové, which develops AI-based automation solutions.
Laurent du Passage, CFO, commented: 'We are delighted to partner with the EBRD to strengthen our commitment to R&D in the Czech Republic', underlining the importance of this collaboration for innovation and local engagement.
