Emeis: 9-month sales up 8.3
(CercleFinance.com) - emeis (formerly Orpéa) has reported sales of 4173 ME for the first nine months of the year, up +8.
3% (+321 ME) and +8.2% on an organic basis, compared with the same period a year earlier.
Over the same period, the Retirement Homes business grew by 10.5% on an organic basis, while the Clinics business rose by 4.2%.
According to the Group, these figures testify to the gradual turnaround of the business following the measures taken over the last 18 months.
The occupancy rate rose by an average of +2.6pts: 85.6% at end September 2024 vs. 83.0% at end September 2023.
For the record, the Group now aims to finalize the disposal of operating and real estate assets worth €1.5 billion between mid 2022 and end 2025, in order to continue reducing its debt. This will leave 800 ME of disposals to be completed by the end of 2025.
In this context, emeis confirms its outlook: EBITDAR for 2024 is expected to rise within a range of 0% to +5%, i.e. between 700 and 730 ME.
