Nokia: contract with Spark in New Zealand

(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has announced that it has been selected by Spark New Zealand (Spark) to expand its existing 4G and 5G program in New Zealand cities.


Spark has selected Nokia as its preferred 5G radio access network partner to streamline operations and consolidate its RAN. This strategic decision will simplify network operations while delivering New Zealand's highest-performing 5G network.

As part of the agreement, Nokia will supply equipment from its comprehensive 5G AirScale portfolio, which includes baseband radio heads, remote radio heads and massive MIMO radios, offering state-of-the-art 5G capacity, coverage and connectivity.
