Egide: new CEO appointed
(CercleFinance.com) - Egide announced on Wednesday the appointment of David Hien to the position of Managing Director, with the aim of consolidating the group's growth and strengthening its positioning in high-tech markets.
The manufacturer of hermetic packages for sensitive electronic components recalls that David Hien had joined its teams in April 2021 as Technical Director.
A year later, he was appointed Sales Director, then Director of the Bollène (Vaucluse) site, before being promoted to Deputy Managing Director and Director last year.
A graduate of the ISEN engineering school (Ecole d'Ingénieurs des Hautes Technologies et du Numérique), he had previously worked for Texas Instruments in Europe, Taiwan and Dallas, as well as for Dekra in Spain.
He will replace Philippe Bringuier, who will retain his position as Administrative and Financial Director.
Following these announcements, Egide's share price fell by more than 3% on the Paris Bourse on Wednesday.
