Sodexo: completes sale of Sofinsod

(CercleFinance.com) - Sodexo announced on Friday that it had completed the sale of Sofinsod to the Bellon family holding company for E918m.


The foodservices group made the transaction official last month, with the aim of simplifying its shareholder structure and monetizing an asset deemed illiquid.

Sofinsod holds 19.6% of Bellon SA, the holding company of the Bellon founding family and a key shareholder in both the Sodexo and Pluxee groups.

All proceeds from the sale will be distributed in the form of an exceptional interim dividend of E6.24 per share, to be paid ex-dividend on Tuesday 27 August.
