McDonald's: UK ambitions for 2027

(CercleFinance.com) - McDonald's plans to invest £1 billion (around 1.
2 billion euros) and create 24,000 jobs in the UK over the next four years, the company said on Wednesday evening.

The American fast-food giant, which this year celebrates its 50th anniversary in the UK, says it plans to open 200 new restaurants in the country by 2027.

McDo, which opened its first restaurant in Woolwich, a district of East London, in 1974, explains that it also plans to modernize more than 1,500 restaurants in the UK and Ireland by then.

The fast-food chain, which employed 171,415 people in the country last year, says it will have opened 41 new restaurants in 2023, a record in almost 20 years.
