Hexaom: sharp drop in sales in Q2
(CercleFinance.com) - Hexaom reports sales of €196.
7m for the 2nd quarter, down 33.7% on the same period a year earlier, in line with the trend in 2023 sales activity.
Sales were down in all sectors, with 170 ME for House Construction (vs. 248 ME previously), 12.5 ME for Renovation (vs. 15.1 ME), 11.6 ME for Property Development (vs. 25 ME) and 2.5 ME for Land Development (vs. 8.3 ME).
For the half-year as a whole, total sales came to 418.4 ME, down 24.2%.
For the 2024 financial year, taking into account the shipments at the end of July, Hexaom confirms the anticipated decline in annual production of around 25 to 30% compared with 2023.
Measures aimed at adapting the cost structure to embedded products and market conditions, combined with the high variability of production costs (100% subcontracting), will enable the Group to adjust to this sales decline.
This should enable the Group to maintain a satisfactory operating profitability in 2024 of between 3% and 4% of annual sales.
