Randstad: dividends paid despite sluggish results

(CercleFinance.com) - On the publication of its annual results, Randstad announces its intention to redistribute around E632m to its shareholders, including E406m in ordinary dividends and E226m in exceptional dividends.


Note that the Dutch temporary employment group's net income fell by a third to E624m in 2023, with underlying EBITA falling 17% to E1.07bn on revenues that dropped 8% to E25.4bn (-6% in organic terms).

Persistently difficult macroeconomic conditions that it experienced in Q4 resulted in weak hiring amongst its clients, conditions that have continued into 2024, Randstad says.
