Walmart: invests in Cruise
(CercleFinance.com) - Walmart has announced an investment in Cruise, the San Francisco-based company offering an all-electric fleet of autonomous cars, to develop a fast, low-cost and scalable last-mile delivery ecosystem.
The largest US retailer says that it began working with Cruise last November by developing a delivery pilot in Scottsdale, Arizona. The investment also highlights its commitment to a net zero future.
