Walmart: buys Israeli start-up Aspectiva
(CercleFinance.com) - Walmart has agreed to buy the Israeli start-up Aspectiva, the US retail giant said, without giving any details of the deal.
As part of the acquisition, Aspectiva will join Walmart incubator Store N° 8 that was launched in 2017 to uncover the ideas that will "transform the future of commerce."
In a statement, Walmart said Aspectiva's machine learning techniques and natural language processing capabilities will have profound impact on how customers will shop.
The Aspectiva will continue to operate from Aspectiva's offices in Tel Aviv, the company said.
