Verizon: contract with Bayer for network infrastructure
(CercleFinance.com) - Verizon Business announces that it has been selected by Bayer to build a new generation global network infrastructure to support its international operations, in a five-year contract with immediate effect, which may be extended by two years.
Its mission will be to improve the capabilities of Bayer's network to enable an easier and more proitable management, while deploying new generation network technologies to continue to improve resilience, flexibility and upgradeability.
Verizon Business will manage network services at over 700 sites in 91 countries. These services include the management of a global private IP network, the management of an extended software network and professional support and governance services.
