Twitter: quarterly results in line with expectations
(CercleFinance.com) - Twitter published its quarterly results on Thursday night.
The social network saw its number of active users grow by 29% between Q3 2019 and Q3 2020, from 145 million to 187 million.
At the same time, its revenues increased by 14%, from 824 million to 936 million dollars.
Net profit amounted to 29 million dollars (compared with 37 million dollars a year earlier), representing EPS of 4 cents, in line with the consensus.
The Twitter share is up 8% in pre-market trading in New York on Friday.
