(CercleFinance.com) - Warner Bros' remake of its horror movie "It" broke box-office records for September for its international debut and in North America this weekend, comScore said on Monday.
The film, which is based on Stephen King's classic, generated a combined total revenue of 179.2 million dollars worldwide, topping Sony's "Spider-Man: Homecoming", the media measurement company said.
On its domestic market alone, the movie grossed 117.2 million dollars over the weekend, comScore said.
