3M: sues fake respirator seller
(CercleFinance.com) - 3M is suing a company that is selling fake, defective and damaged N95 respirators on Amazon at grossly inflated prices, and under the 3M brand name, the US diversified manufacturer said on Tuesday.
The legal action filed in a Californian federal court alleges that Mao Yu and his companies have charged customers over 350,000 dollars by reselling the fraudulent respirators at prices of up to 20 times 3M's N95 respirator list prices.
