T-Mobile US: finally reaches an agreement with Sprint Corp
(CercleFinance.com) - T-Mobile US and Sprint Corp have finally reached an agreement to merge both groups in the US.
T-Mobile US, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, will buy out Sprint by a share exchange. Sprint group is valued at 26 billion dollars, with an enterprise value of 59 billion dollars, which corresponds to the current market value, Aurel BGC says.
Sprint and T-Mobile US announced last November the end of merger talks, with no agreement reached between the parent companies.
Neither Sprint nor Deutsche Telekom seemed to want to give up control of the new entity, said Aurel BGC today, noting that the gap should therefore remain between the two sector leaders - AT&T and Verizon - and the following groups.
