Omnicom: above expectations in quarter
(CercleFinance.com) - Omnicom published solid figures for the second quarter of its financial year.
The American advertising behemoth generated net profits of 370.7 million dollars over the period, or 1.68 dollars per share, compared to 364.2 million, representing 1.6 dollars per share one year previously. Consensus was a little less optimistic, forecasting a progression to 1.61 dollars.
Turnover is, however, slightly down, from 3.86 billion dollars to 3.72 billion.
