Netflix: 'Stranger Things 3' breaking records
(CercleFinance.com) - Shares of Netflix are up on Tuesday after the video streaming company said the third season of its original supernatural mystery series "Stranger Things" was breaking records.
According to Netflix, 40.7 million household accounts have been watching the show since its July 4 global launch, more than any other film or series in its first four days.
Netflix said that 18.2 million have already finished the entire season.
After this announcement, the Netflix shares were up 1.7% at 382.5 dollars, compared to a 0.3% drop in the benchmark S&P 500 index.
