Microsoft: strategic partnership with Fujitsu
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday Microsoft and Fujitsu announced that they would be extending their collaboration by signing a new five-year strategic partnership.
Under the terms of the agreement, the Japanese IT services group has selected the US software giant as its preferred cloud partner.
Both companies say they also want to combine their respective expertise to offer their customers "sustainable transformation" services.
Their joint offering will combine Fujitsu's expertise in manufacturing, retail, healthcare, advanced computing and networks with Azure, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power Platform and Viva.
Some 28,000 Fujitsu employees are to be trained in Microsoft cloud technologies over the next five years.
Fujitsu states that the project should help Fujitsu Uvance, the new commercial brand grouping together its activities "for a more responsible world", to achieve its sale starget of $5.4bn by 2025.
