(CercleFinance.com) - Microsoft has been picked as primary cloud provider by US fashion retailer Gap, the companies said on Friday.

Gap will be working with Microsoft to migrate hundreds of applications to Azure, Microsoft's cloud platform, moving key inventory, stores and site capabilities for over 3,100 stores in more than 90 countries, they said.

Gap is also deploying collaborative suite Microsoft 365 for its employees.

The deal includes all Gap's brands, including Old Navy, Gap, and Banana Republic.
