Merck: Theramex acquires rights for Zoely pill
(CercleFinance.com) - The British pharmaceutical company Theramex announced on Wednesday that it has acquired the commercial rights to Zoely, an oral contraceptive pill, from the US giant Merck.
Theramex, which currently markets Zoely in 11 European countries, explains that the agreement reached with Merck will henceforth let it distribute the product in more than 50 countries worldwide.
Meanwhile, Merck will retain sales rights for the US and Canada.
Theramex is a laboratory specialising in women's health, with a drug portfolio that covers fertility, menopause and osteoporosis health issues.
