McDonald's: raises cash dividend by 8%
(CercleFinance.com) - McDonald's has raised its quarterly cash dividend by 8% to 1.
25 dollar per share, bringing the total quarterly dividend payout to over 900 million dollars, the fast-food company said late on Thursday.
The dividend will be paid on 16 December to shareholders on record at the close of business on 2 December.
The global hamburger chain said it has returned 21 billion dollars as part of its three-year cash return to shareholders target of about 25 billion dollars.
It plans to complete the remaining amount by the end of the year. McDonald's said it has raised its dividend for 43 consecutive years since it began paying a dividend in 1976.
