Lockheed Martin: to develop a human lunar lander
(CercleFinance.com) - Lockheed Martin has announced that it is part of the team that has won a contract from NASA to develop and demonstrate a human landing system for the Artemis program, as part of the agency's Human Landing System program.
The program aims to rapidly develop a durable human lunar lander and conduct a manned demonstration flight on the lunar surface for Artemis V.
Led by Blue Origin, the national team that will develop and build the lander also includes Draper, Boeing, Astrobotic and Honeybee Robotics.
