Lockheed Martin: unveils new tactical satellites
(CercleFinance.com) - Lockheed Martin today announced that its new tactical satellites (ISRs), based on the LM 400 model, help meet the growing demand for space-enabled warfighting capabilities, providing comprehensive, round-the-clock support to warfighters.
The satellites enable warfighters to track moving targets at long ranges and operate in contested and denied environments with reduced timeframes, the company said.
According to Lockheed Matin, tactical ISR satellites "will play a key role in Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) by allowing tactical warfighters to better employ space-based capabilities".
