Kraft Heinz: names Campbell executive as head of US business
(CercleFinance.com) - Troubled food giant Kraft Heinz said on Wednesday that Campbell Soup's Carlos Abrams-Rivera will lead all its US operations, the company's largest business, starting in February.
Kraft Heinz - which is trying to rebuild its business momentum with a focus on marketing and innovation - said that Abrams-Rivera will join its senior leadership team as the new US zone president, effective as of 3 February.
A native of Puerto Rico, Abrams-Rivera, 52, most recently served as the president of Campbell Snacks, a division that represents nearly half of the soup maker's annual sales.
