IBM: Wells Fargo Securities maintains 'market perform'
(CercleFinance.com) - Wells Fargo Securities maintains its "market perform" rating on IBM after the IT company launched new mainframe systems.
In a research note, the brokerage firm said the new pricing model of mainframes - which focus on security features - will probably help adoption and expand reach.
Wells Fargo also thinks a timely ramp-up of the new mainframe systems should help Big Blue's second-half financials by driving revenues as well as margins.
