HP Enterprise: beats consensus in Q2

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) announced Q2 adjusted EPS that doubled to 34 cents, exceeding the consensus by three cents.

The IT services group - resulting from the spin-off of Hewlett Packard in 2015 - saw its adjusted operating margin increase by 2.7 points to 8.6%, while sales rose by 9.7% to 7.5 billion dollars.

Thanks to these strong performances, HPE is now targeting FY 2017-18 adjusted EPS of between 1.40 dollar and 1.50 dollar, against a target range of 1.35 dollar to 1.45 dollar three months ago.
