HP Inc: posts 'solid' results, fueled by PC sales

(CercleFinance.com) - Printer and PC maker HP Inc.
has delivered "solid" second-quarter results, with non-GAAP EPS growing double-digits and coming in at the high end of its outlook range.

Excluding charges, second quarter non-GAAP EPS was 0.53 dollar, up from 0.48 dollar a year ago, and within the previously provided range of 0.50 dollar to 0.53 dollar.

Revenue rose just 0.2% to 14 billion dollars, with the 2% growth in personal systems revenue being offset by a 2% fall in printing revenue.

For fiscal 2019, HP is now expecting non-GAAP EPS to be in the range of 2.14 dollars to 2.21 dollars.

The Palo Alto, California-based company previously said it expected non-GAAP EPS to be in the range of 2.12 dollars to 2.22 dollars for the current year.
