Goodyear: billion dollar bond placement
(CercleFinance.com) - Goodyear today announced that it has launched a 1 billion dollar bond placement of 10-year and 12-year senior unsecured notes, subject to customary market and other closing conditions.
The tyre maker intends to use the net proceeds of the offering, along with its existing cash and cash equivalent, to repurchase 1 billion dollars of outstanding 5.125% bonds maturing in 2023.
