GE: announces 3 new board appointments
(CercleFinance.com) - General Electric (GE) has announced that its Board of Directors will propose three new directors at its next AGM.
They Include Lawrence Culp, former chief executive officer and president of Danaher Corporation.
Thomas W. Horton, former chairman and chief executive officer of American Airlines will also be also proposed, along with Leslie F. Seidman, former chairman of the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB).
With these three appointments, GE's Board of Directors will have 12 members, according to the plan previously announced by the US, a conglomerate that formerly planned to reduce the size of its Board.
