Ford: October sales down 3.9% in the US

(CercleFinance.com) - Ford today announces that it sold 192,616 vehicles in the United States last month, down -3.
9% year-on-year.

The car manufacturer from Dearborn, Michigan, however, points out that the average price of its transactions has risen by 1,400 dollars in October 2018 from October 2017, which is more than triple the average increase seen in the sector (+330 dollars).

Ford also notes that its F-Series models have exceeded 70,000 monthly sales for the eighth consecutive month, although only just this time as the car maker sold 70,438 of these pickups. The group's SUV models however have increased (+6.7% compared to October 2017), for what represents the best month of October in this segment for 16 years.
