Ford: production set to restart on three sites
(CercleFinance.com) - Ford has announced a restart to production of F-150 pickups at Dearborn Truck this Friday, and intends to resume Super Duty production at Kentucky Truck and F6150 at Kansas City Assembly next Monday.
The carmaker points out that these three productions had been hit by a fire on 2 May at the site of one of its equipment suppliers, Meridian Magnesium Products of America.
Ford maintains its adjusted EPS target range of 1.45-1.70 dollar for 2018, with the negative impact relating to lost production estimated at 12-to-14 cents per share in Q2.
