Ford: China car sales down 30% in February
(CercleFinance.com) - Ford Motor suffered a 30% fall in volumes in China last month as the US carmaker is currently repositioning its business in the country.
Overall, Ford sold 47,483 vehicles in February, down from 67,568 units a year ago.
The company said that sales declined partly due to fewer working days, including the late Chinese New Year holiday this year.
As a reminder, Ford launched a strategic plan in December, aiming to launch over 50 new vehicles in China by 2025 - mostly SUVs, electric and connected cars.
