(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday evening FedEx reported adjusted net income that more than doubled to 939 million dollars, or 3.
47 dollars per share, for its third fiscal quarter, significantly beating the consensus.

The Memphis, Tennessee-based logistics and courier group saw its adjusted operating margin improve by 2.1% to 4.9%, while revenue rose by 23% to 21.5 billion dollars.

FedEx expects adjusted EPS of between 17.60 to 18.20 dollars for the current year, assuming a recovery in US industrial production and global trade, in addition to no additional restrictions and assuming current fuel price expectations.
