ExxonMobil: raises long-term earnings growth target
(CercleFinance.com) - ExxonMobil on Wednesday increased its long-term earnings growth target, with the US oil giant benefiting from the aggressive growth strategy that it laid out last year.
This morning the company projected annual earnings growth of over 140% from 2017 to 2025, assuming an oil price of 60 dollars per barrel and based on 2017 margins.
Exxon previously set an earnings growth target of 135% between 2017 and 2025, based on 2017 adjusted earnings.
It said that its plans have "significant additional upside possible," citing key growth areas, such as Guyana and the Permian basin.
