DowDuPont: Q1 adjusted EPS up 7%
(CercleFinance.com) - DowDuPont - the chemicals group that was formed by the merger between Dow Chemical and DuPont in 2017 has posted adjusted Q1 2018 EPS up 7% at 1.
12 dollar, with an operating EBITDA that is up 6% at 4.9 billion dollars.
Sales reached 21.5 billion dollars, up 5%, with growth in Materials Science (+17%) and Specialty Products (+11%) offset a 25% drop at the Agriculture division.
DowDuPont said that it sees this strength continuing in the second quarter, when the group expects sales growth of over 10%, with operating EBITDA up by over 20%.
