Disney: 'Star Wars' tops weekend box office in North America

The conclusion to the nine-episode franchise that began in 1977 generated total ticket sales in the United States and Canada of close to 34 million dollars over the past weekend, BoxOfficeMojo.com said.
The movie beat "Jumanji: The Next Level", which came in second, with the sequel raking in 26.5 million dollars while "Little Women" finished third with 13.6 million dollars, the website said.
