Disney: acquisition of 21st Century Fox effective 20 March
(CercleFinance.com) - Disney's acquisition of 21st Century Fox is to become effective on 20 March, the companies said on Tuesday.
As a reminder, the 71.3 billion dollar cash and stock deal includes 21st Century Fox's film production businesses, such as Twentieth Century Fox and Fox Searchlight Pictures, along with Fox's interests in streaming platform Hulu and British broadcaster Sky.
However, the transaction does not include the Fox Broadcasting network and stations, including Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network.
