Disney: 'Avengers: Infinity War' stays top at box office
(CercleFinance.com) - Disney/Marvel's mega-hit "Avengers: Infinity War" stayed at the top of the box office over the past weekend, according to audience measurement company comScore on Monday.
The superhero flick pulled in 275 million dollars globally on the weekend of May 6, with 112.4 million at domestic venues and 162.6 million internationally.
The movie has cleared the 1 billion dollar milestone in worldwide grosses in a record 11-day sprint, comScore said.
"With China yet to open, the film will continue to climb to even greater box office heights," predicts comScore's media analyst Paul Dergarabedian.
