Cisco: technological partnership with Schneider Electric
(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday Schneider Electric announced a technological partnership with the US network equipment manufacturer Cisco, which is focused on smart buildings.
Both companies say they have jointly developed building management systems that can be connected to an IP network and enable a secure and versatile architecture.
In particular, the partnership combines the EcoStruxure Internet of Things (IoT) system architecture and SmartX IP controllers designed by Schneider Electric with Cisco industrial Ethernet switches.
