Cisco: completes purchase of Voicea
(CercleFinance.com) - US networking giant Cisco has completed its acquisition of Voicea, a California-based firm that provides meeting transcription, voice search, and meeting highlights solutions.
Cisco said in August that it was buying privately-held Voicea for an undisclosed amount.
The company plans to improve its Webex portfolio of video conferencing, online meetings, and webinar products with a transcription service that blends AI and automated speech recognition (ASR) for meetings and conference calls.
