(CercleFinance.com) - Cisco Systems said on Thursday that it has agreed to buy Observable Networks, to support its strategic transition toward software-centered solutions.
A privately held software company headquartered in St. Louis, Observable Networks provides cloud network security applications delivered as a service.
Cisco expects the acquisition to be completed in the first quarter of fiscal year 2018, due to end in October.
