Caterpillar: withdraws 2020 targets
(CercleFinance.com) - Given the global economic uncertainty associated with the coronavirus pandemic, which is upsetting its supply chain, Caterpillar has said that it is withdrawing its 2020 financial targets.
For the record, it was expecting EPS of between 8.50 dollars and 10 dollars.
However, the building equipment manufacturer has a "solid" financial position, recalling that it finished 2019 with 8.3 billion dollars in cash and 10.5 billion dollars in credit facilities available overall.
