Boeing: potential electrical problems on some 737MAX planes
(CercleFinance.com) - On Friday Boeing announced that it has recommended that 16 of its clients resolve a potential electrical problem affecting a specific group of 737 MAX aircraft before continuing operations.
Specifically, the recommendation is to check that a component of the electrical power system is properly earthed, the plane maker said.
Boeing says it is working closely with the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on this production issue.
It said that it is also notifying its clients of the affected aircraft numbers and will provide guidance on appropriate corrective actions.
