Boeing: delivers first 787 Dreamliner to Canada's WestJet
(CercleFinance.com) - Boeing has delivered its first 787 Dreamliner to Canada's second-largest carrier, WestJet, which will use this long-range aircraft for new international routes.
WestJet will use the 787-9, which can fly up to 14,140 km non-stop, to offer the first-ever flight connecting Calgary and Dublin. The airline also plans to offer routes between Calgary and London, and Calgary and Paris.
This jet is the first of WestJet's total order of ten 787 Dreamliners.
