Boeing: signs long-term deal with parts maker Spirit
(CercleFinance.com) - Boeing said on Thursday it signed a long term agreement with aircraft parts maker Spirit AeroSystems setting pricing terms for certain programs including the new Boeing 737, the 737 MAX, and the 787 Dreamliner, for the next decade.
Spirit, which makes in particular fuselage parts and aerodynamic structures, said 737 pricings have been based on production rates above and below current production levels.
The contract also includes joint cost reduction programs for the Boeing 777X and 787 Dreamliner, it said.
